The landbank authorized contracting Great Lakes Construction for $17,230 and an abatement vendor (NTWA) for $5,500 to address demolition and asbestos removal at 2076 E. 28th St. in Lorain.
City representative Matt Kusznir told the board "the south side of Lorain is making some revitalization efforts," and said the city had received three quotes on the demolition and asbestos abatement. The board adopted RESOLUTION NO. 2026-6 to authorize the agreements; Treasurer Dan Talarek, Commissioner David J. Moore, Commissioner Marty Gallagher and Commissioner Jeff Riddell voted aye; Mayor Jack Bradley recorded an abstention.
The record lists the contract and abatement amounts in the resolution; the landbank will execute the agreements to allow the city to proceed with the described work.
