Swan Valley board accepts resignations and approves multiple hires

At its June 11 meeting the Swan Valley Board accepted several staff resignations and approved multiple new hires for the coming school year and summer programs.
The board accepted resignations effective immediately for Lynda Thayer and Peggy Glynn (Swan Valley Middle School special education/healthcare aides) and Lauren Cole (instructional aide at Swan Valley Middle School) on a motion by Kevin Shanks, seconded by Michael Wenzel (Aye: 5 Nye: 0). The board also approved coach resignations for Craig Monahan (varsity assistant track), Blake Felsing (JV girls basketball) and Dave Dawson (varsity boys track) on a motion by Michael Wenzel, seconded by JoAnn Schneider.
Hiring approvals included Brennen Worke for a custodial position (motion by Jeffrey Whelton), summer school teachers Torie Ray, Peyton Shea and Monica Buckley (motion by JoAnn Schneider), and coach hires: Brian Miller (middle school cross country), Andrew Wendler (varsity cross country) and Blake Felsing (Varsity girls basketball) as approved in separate motions. The minutes show all personnel votes recorded Aye: 5 Nye: 0. The minutes do not provide personnel contract terms beyond the actions recorded.
