At the May 21 meeting the Swan Valley School District Board of Education acknowledged several personnel departures. The board accepted the retirement of Kathi Halvin, a Swan Valley High School teacher, effective at the end of the 2025–26 school year. The board also recorded the resignation of Carly Brown, a middle-school teacher, effective at the end of the 2025–26 school year, and the resignation of Brandon Anderson, a custodian, effective May 19, 2026; all acknowledgments were approved 7–0.
The board also acknowledged coach resignations: Ryan Houthoofd (Varsity Cross Country), Ryan Perkins (MS Cross Country), Kelly Miller (Varsity Girls Basketball), and Carly Brown (MS Girls Track, effective at season end).
