At its April 16 meeting the Swan Valley School District Board of Education approved a new athletic registration schedule for the 2026-27 school year. The motion, made by JoAnn Schneider and seconded by Dana Raymond, set high school registration at $100 per year and middle school registration at $50 per year, with reduced rates for free/reduced lunch qualifiers ($50 and $25 respectively) and a family cap of $250. The motion passed on a 6-0 vote.
The board also approved the athletics pass pricing for 2026-27: an adult pass for $80 and a family pass (up to five people, any age) for $200. The minutes show the fees apply to the upcoming school year and do not record any dissenting comments. The changes affect student-athletes and families who pay participation or admission fees under district policy.
