Board unanimously approves four 2026–2028 employee contracts after executive session
Summary
Following an executive session on salary and negotiations, the St. Johns board unanimously approved 2026–2028 contracts with four employee associations, covering student personnel, drivers, cafeteria workers and maintenance/custodial staff.
After moving into executive session to discuss administrative/non-union salary recommendations, union contracts and upcoming SJEA negotiation planning, the board returned and approved multiple collective bargaining agreements.
Trustee Darragh moved and Vice President Jessica Parker-Sternburgh supported approval of the 2026–2028 contract with the St. Johns Student Personnel Association; the board then approved contracts with the St. Johns Drivers Association, the St. Johns Cafeteria Workers Association and the St. Johns Maintenance & Custodian Association. Each contract motion was recorded as unanimously approved.
