St. Charles board approves $477,923.77 in December expenditures

The St. Charles Community Schools Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve $477,923.77 in expenditures for December 2025 at its Jan. 21 regular meeting.
"I move that the Board approve the expenditures of $477,923.77 for the month of December 2025," said Allison Brady, who moved the motion; Angie Lewis seconded it and the motion carried 7-0. The Board also approved minutes from the Jan. 19 special meeting in the same portion of the agenda.
Finance materials had been submitted electronically in advance and were reviewed in person by finance representative Kelly Cornford, who attended the meeting to answer questions. The Board received multiple department reports in the same session, including finance, academics, athletics and attendance/discipline, which the minutes note were reviewed by staff representatives.
The approvals finalize routine administrative business; no dissenting board members or public commenters spoke during these items. The Board adjourned at 7:56 p.m.
