Board hears facilities updates including Arrowwood flooding, field repairs and planned flooring replacement

Superintendent Jamie Kraatz presented a facilities update noting insurance proceeds related to Arrowwood flooding and ongoing assessments of drains and tree-root impacts. Kraatz said the district is considering phased flooring replacement at Arrowwood and elsewhere, which could take several years; no final funding amounts were included in the minutes.
The Superintendent reported that the sump pump at Arrowwood was replaced and that White Pine practice‑field repairs are being handled by WTA at no cost to the district. Portables, libraries and STEM labs are nearly completed for the coming school year; the Heritage High School training room and an HHSAA‑funded basketball room are also in progress. The Board was told the district's energy project updates will begin soon.
