During the Superintendent's Report, Jamie Kraatz told the Board that the district released a press statement the morning of June 18 announcing it will not pursue another bond at this time. Kraatz said the district will consult three firms that specialize in strategic planning as it revises the strategic plan; adjustments already made based on feedback were noted.
Kraatz also announced a district STEM event to be held at the White Pine football field from 8 a.m. to noon at the end of Summer School. The district will partner with Saginaw STEM; all K–5 Summer School students are scheduled to attend and 6–8 students will assist younger students.
