Chair Gene Ryan opened the session and asked for a motion to adopt the minutes; the board moved, seconded and, after a roll call, the chair announced that the minutes were approved. Ryan also described a published “hold date” calendar for 2025 and asked members to report conflicts on a 60‑day rolling basis so staff can meet advertising lead times (about 45 days) before scheduling hearings. "If you have a conflict, in either December or January, if you can let me know," Ryan said, explaining the board will remove hold dates when members cannot attend.
The board asked staff for paper copies of the calendar and discussed available meeting times. Members agreed to continue coordinating calendar changes with the board administrator and to bring unresolved scheduling questions back at the Nov. 14 work session before any public notices are finalized.
