Greg Esposito of Isaacson, Miller presented the Search Work Plan (Attachment 1), which lays out stages including "Understanding the Challenge," a launch meeting, scoping meetings with stakeholders, candidate networking and screening, two committee presentations (a preliminary "work in progress" and a later "Candidates" presentation), semifinal and finalist interviews and reference checks, finalist campus visits, and negotiation and transition support.
Esposito described the plan as a roadmap for moving from initial outreach and profile development through finalist visits and offer negotiation. Committee members were asked to review the draft listening-session plan and to submit additional individuals or groups to include in outreach and listening sessions. The firm and committee also discussed soon-to-be-launched presidential search website and next steps for public materials.
