Staff noted the prior ordinance language on the city website still listed meetings beginning at 7:00 p.m., and that the recently adopted ordinance had not formally amended the municipal code online. A staff member explained council needed to pass the current amendment to effectuate the earlier decision and update the municipal code.
The ordinance under consideration was described in the packet as an amendment to Ordinance 2026-1208 to set the regular meeting day, study-session time and holiday schedule. The council approved the amendment and the motion carried.
