The Prince George's County Council approved its consent agenda and advanced several pieces of legislation during the Sept. 17 session. After removing three items from the consent agenda by unanimous motion, the council adopted the remaining consent items on a 9–0 roll call.
Later in the meeting the council enacted CB 26 (amending bid and contract security requirements to address marketplace bonding challenges) and CB 31 (adding alternative dispute resolution provisions for common ownership communities). Both measures passed on roll call; CB 26 carried 9–0 and CB 31 carried 9–0. The council also introduced, referred, and discussed other bills scheduled for committee review.
