The board acknowledged four resignations noted by Superintendent Gail Hughey: Warren Caverly II (bus driver, effective Feb. 27, 2026); Harper Munson (JV girls soccer coach, effective Feb. 12, 2026); Justin Rembowski (transportation mechanic, effective Feb. 4, 2026); and Shelby White (Title I paraprofessional, effective March 18, 2026).
Trustees approved five new hires: Courtney Cardell (At‑Risk Paraprofessional, Surline Elementary, $14.21/hr), Dylan Jackson (JV baseball coach), Robert LaFleur (transportation mechanic, $20.26/hr), Michael McKinnon (lunchroom/playground aide, $13.73/hr), and Eric Weiler (assistant varsity softball coach). The board also approved two Title I summer school positions at Rose City School — Stephanie Dantzer‑Holton as summer lead teacher and Jennifer Kalakay as summer teacher — each at $30 per hour (or the employee's higher hourly rate). All personnel motions were approved 5‑0.
The minutes do not record extended discussion on staffing choices or turnover causes; the board proceeded by unanimous votes to fill the posted positions.
