Vicksburg board sets June 8 public hearing for 2026–27 budget, approves KRESA budget resolution

At the May 11 meeting the board voted unanimously to set June 8, 2026 as the public hearing date to consider the proposed 2026–27 budget (motion by Rick Burmeister, second by Lisa Hostetler).
In the same block of business the board approved by roll call a resolution concerning the Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency (KRESA) 2026-27 General Education Fund budget, a standard interlocal approval required of local districts. The motions passed unanimously with no recorded abstentions.
The board's action schedules the district's public review of the budget and completes the local approval step for the ISD's general fund budget requirement.
