Vicksburg board honors Class of 2026, reminds voters of May 5 bond election

President David Schriemer called the Vicksburg Community Schools Board of Education meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and welcomed attendees. "It's a meeting we look forward to every year," Schriemer said as the board opened the ceremony honoring graduating seniors.
Superintendent Keevin O'Neill highlighted the district's upcoming bond election on May 5 and told the audience where they can obtain further information. Adam Brush introduced and interviewed the top 15 students in the Class of 2026; the board and superintendent publicly congratulated those students and noted senior awards photos were taken in the courtyard.
The recognition portion was largely ceremonial and intended to celebrate student achievement ahead of graduation. The superintendent also used his report to note legislative timing in Lansing and to flag several upcoming district dates for families and staff.
