Board honors two retiring teachers with Golden Apple awards

The board recognized two retiring teachers, Gregg Bennett and Allison Veine, at its June 9 meeting and presented Golden Apple awards in appreciation of their years of service.
Superintendent Stoneman introduced the recognitions and Mr. Stoneman "recognized our two retiring teachers: Gregg Bennett, and Allison Veine." Colleagues spoke on behalf of the retirees: Ms. Warnke spoke on behalf of Mr. Bennett and Ms. Adams spoke on behalf of Ms. Veine. The district thanked both teachers for "their years of dedicated and exceptional service to the District."
Board members acknowledged the retirees and expressed appreciation for their contributions to students and the district.
