During the July 28, 2026 site visit to the proposed new garage location at 54 Recreation Rd, the Selectboard discussed taking a phased approach to the project that would begin with information-gathering, proceed to stakeholder engagement, and include public outreach. Architect Andrew LaRosa shared a Request for Proposals used by Roxbury for a similar four-bay garage and offered to prepare write-ups describing multiple approaches Tunbridge could pursue.
The board asked the architect to provide those materials and agreed that staff (Assistant Aileen Lem) would follow up to arrange site visits to nearby garages in Chelsea, Brookfield, and Vershire and to coordinate next steps. No formal motions or budget decisions were taken at the visit; the meeting concluded with a unanimous adjournment.
