Town reports truck leak, diesel tank whistle issue and orders $500 pump for mower

Tunbridge Road Foreman Rodney Hoyt informed the Selectboard that the town's diesel tank whistle is not audible to the fuel vendor, the mower will need a $500 pickup pump attached to its diesel filter, and a slow-moving-valve on a Town truck has developed a recurring leak in the same cylinder location as before. Rodney said the valve issue may be covered under warranty and the truck remains operable while the warranty is verified.
Rodney also reported a culvert replacement by Wayland Road was completed with minimal disruption and that materials from Barre are arriving for ongoing road work. The board agreed to proceed with necessary small repairs and maintenance and to schedule ditching, mowing, and grading as weather allows.
