At its June 23 meeting the Pennfield Schools Board of Education approved a set of personnel and labor items, including a new contract with the Pennfield Education Association (PEA), revised pay scales, a transportation wage re-opener and 12-month professional contracts for 2026–27.
The board voted to approve the 2026–2028 PEA contract and the Pennfield pay scales; each motion was made by Stephen Herbstreith and seconded by Tim Wood and carried with four votes in favor and three absences. The board also approved the 2026–2027 Pennfield Transportation Association wage re-opener, again by Tim Wood (mover) and Stephen Herbstreith (second).
The board approved recommended new hires presented by Mrs. Hill and Superintendent Stephanie Lemmer; the minutes do not list names or positions. The minutes record the vote on the 12-month professional contracts as: "Motion to approve the 12-Month Professional Contracts for 2026-2027."
