Beck outlined specific deadlines: stakeholder input is due Sept. 22; the Finance Director must submit the budget to the mayor by Oct. 1; public hearings are scheduled for Oct. 20, Nov. 3 and Nov. 20; and the council aims to adopt the final budget by Dec. 25. Beech described the process’s goals as transparency, alignment with community priorities and identifying funding gaps for items such as COLAs, IT and capital maintenance. She invited the council to email her suggested priorities for the budget list.
