Council hears staff recommendations on two tax-acquired properties; trailer on Lancaster Brook deemed beyond repair
Summary
Town staff told the Glenburn Council about two tax-foreclosed properties; officials recommended removing a derelict trailer on a Lancaster Brook lot, cleaning and selling the lot, and said a Page Road property will be evaluated further with a potential final payment-plan offer to the owner.

Town staff informed the Glenburn Town Council that two properties had been foreclosed and are now tax-acquired, and described differing next steps for each.
Mr. McClung said the Lancaster Brook property is uninhabited and that the trailer on the lot is beyond repair; he recommended the trailer be removed, the lot cleaned up and put up for sale. For the Page Road property he said he had no recommendation yet and would meet with the owner; he recommended that if a payment plan is arranged and the owner retains the property, it should be the final opportunity because this has been a long-standing issue with that residence.
Council did not record a formal vote on either property during the meeting; staff will return with more information on Page Road and proceed with cleanup and disposition actions for Lancaster Brook as recommended.
