Fayston Selectboard reappoints town officials, leaves emergency management post open

The Fayston Selectboard reviewed and reappointed a slate of town officials whose terms had expired, including Joshua Livingston as Road Foreman and Madison Vasseur as Selectboard Assistant. Chuck Martel moved to reappoint the listed officials and the board approved the motion unanimously.
The reappointments continued through a second roster covering Development Review Board members, Conservation Commission appointments and regional representatives to bodies such as the MRV Planning District and Central Vermont Regional Planning District. The board recorded that the Emergency Management role remains vacant and said it will seek a candidate; the board also discussed (and declined to continue) an Energy Coordinator position that had arisen from a prior grant application.
