Taloga Board approves federal-program management, audit and therapy contracts
Summary
The board approved a FY27 contract with Barlow Education Management Services for Title and Special Education program support, retained Britton, Kuykendall and Miller, P.C. for the 2025–26 audit, and approved Schmidt Pediatric Physical Therapy Services for 2026–27 student therapy services; all motions passed unanimously.
The Board voted to contract with service providers to support federal programs, financial audit work and student therapy services. Justin Fox moved and Stacy King seconded approval of a FY27 contract with Barlow Education Management Services "to advise and help manage Title and Special Education Programs (Federal Programs) for Taloga Public Schools." The motion passed with a unanimous vote.
The board also approved retaining Britton, Kuykendall and Miller, P.C. for the upcoming 2025–2026 school-year audit and approved a contract with Schmidt Pediatric Physical Therapy Services for the 2026–2027 school year to provide pediatric physical therapy services. Each contract motion was seconded and approved by a unanimous roll call.
