Lynwood board approves multiple property tax-incentive renewals
Summary
The Village of Lynwood board unanimously approved four property tax-incentive renewals and a new Class 8 incentive request covering Torrence Avenue, North Creek Drive, Vollmer Road and Lincoln Highway during its March 25 meeting.
Trustee Randall K. Blakey moved to approve several tax-incentive resolutions and Trustees voted unanimously to carry them. The board approved Resolution #25-07 "a Resolution to approve a request for a Class 8 Incentive for the property commonly known as 20040(20388) Torrence Ave. Lynwood, IL. PIN#32-13-201-015 - Applicant: Sami Bader/JBS 1 Property, LLC," and also approved renewals for 19510 North Creek Drive (Resolution #25-09, Applicant: Ralph Edgar Trust), 1580 Vollmer Road (Resolution #25-08, Applicant: Tim Groenewold) and 3275 Lincoln Highway (Resolution #25-06, Applicant: GPI Properties, LLC).
Trustee Blakey said the measures were moved and supported on the floor and each passed on roll call votes with Ayes recorded as Eaves, Lilly, Dunlap, Blakey, Clark and Marshall. The approvals were recorded as second-read/action-taken motions. The board did not record any Nays, Abstentions or Absences on these items.
