Ettrick caucus nominates three trustees for April 7 ballot

The Village of Ettrick caucus nominated Cory Komperud, Kaylee Waldvogel and Pete Filla to be placed on the ballot for the April 7, 2026 village trustee election, Village President Marc Baures said at the start of the meeting.
Marc Baures called the caucus to order at 6:00 p.m. and opened the floor for nominations. Harold Olson nominated Kaylee Waldvogel for Village Trustee, and Dan Molstad seconded the nomination; Dan Molstad then nominated Pete Filla, seconded by Marc Baures; and Dana Stoner nominated Cory Komperud, seconded by Marc Baures. After calling three times for additional nominations, Baures "declared the nominations closed and announced the following candidates for Village Trustee to be placed on the ballot for the April 7th, 2026 election: 1. Cory Komperud 2. Kaylee Waldvogel 3. Pete Filla."
Village Clerk Jane Jensen provided the three candidates with the necessary nomination papers to be completed and returned before the election. No other business was conducted before the caucus adjourned. The nominations make those three names the official caucus nominees for the April 7 election; further filings or signatures required by election law were not detailed in the caucus minutes.
