Commission approves $14,703.31 KOMTEK proposal to mail required RNR notices; state to reimburse

County Clerk Amie Jones asked the commission to approve a KOMTEK Systems Corporation proposal to prepay RNR notices for $14,703.31, to be paid from the Clerk’s Miscellaneous Fund (010-02-7280). Jones told commissioners that the State will reimburse the County in full for the mailing and that sending the notices is a statutory requirement.
Commissioners approved the request 3-0 (Bartel/Duft). Clerk Jones noted the item is budgeted annually. "This is a budgeted item and will be reimbursed by the State. It is also [a] statutory requirement to send out the notice," she said. The payment covers production and mailing of required notices for the upcoming cycle; no additional funding or county match was reported.
