Township manager Judith Danko told the board staff advertised the 2026 sealcoat project and that Asphalt Maintenance Solutions (AMS) was the lowest qualified bidder. "The lowest qualified bidder was Asphalt Maintenance Solutions, which is known as AMS, in the amount of a $114,721.10," Danko said during her report; the board later moved to award the contract in a formal action and approved the award in open session.
Supervisors discussed whether the township should continue with maintenance-oriented treatments or move toward more extensive road reconstruction in future budgets; some members suggested identifying candidate roads for deeper fixes during upcoming budget sessions. The board noted the contract would be paid from the liquid fuels fund and that the award came in under the $125,000 budgeted amount.
