The Plan Commission approved a certified survey map to subdivide village-owned property adjacent to the Pleasant Prairie Police Department and approved a change of address for an existing village-owned home from 3875 100th Street to 3780 101st Street prior to sale. Staff explained the driveway for the home was relocated to 101st Street during police-station construction and the village intends to sell the residence once the CSM and address change are complete.
Rob told commissioners the subdivision would create two lots and an outlot: Lot 1 (approx. 1.98 acres) would be zoned I-1 and retained by the village; Lot 2 (approx. 2.2 acres) would contain the existing home to be resold in the R-4 district; Outlot 1 (approx. 1.36 acres) contains a stormwater facility related to police-station construction and would be zoned PR-1. The commission also approved a zoning map amendment for the village-owned properties and a zoning-text amendment to correct the PUD legal description so it reflects the property with the police department building (Lot 1 of CSM 3039).
Commissioners complimented the new police station construction and asked procedural questions about where the station had been proposed earlier in the planning process. All motions related to the CSM, address change, zoning map amendment and zoning-text correction passed by voice vote.
