Selectboard members reported Jan. 13 that the town sand pile has taken a significant hit during recent ice storms and that the 2024 Western Star truck needs warranty work for a leak. The board discussed whether to repair the loader bucket or purchase a new one; Clayton Whittemore said it would "probably be best to just get a new one," and Ricky Morin agreed to obtain price estimates.
The board also instructed staff to send a letter to a bus company after receiving calls about a bus off where the bus turns around (a non-town road) to note that town equipment cannot pull the bus back onto the road. Board members also requested a letter to a resident parking in the town right-of-way.
