Taloga board amends extra-duty pay for boys basketball coaches and assistants

A motion by Doug Kilmer, seconded by Ladena Birney, updated compensation as follows: half-season high-school boys basketball head coach — $3,000; half-season junior-high boys basketball head coach — $1,500; half-season high-school boys basketball assistant coach — $1,500; half-season junior-high boys basketball assistant coach — $1,000; elementary basketball assistant coach for the remainder of the season — $75 per game. The motion passed with Yes votes by Birney, Fox, Kilmer and Acre.
The changes were presented as adjustments for the remainder of the current season and were entered into the meeting minutes for implementation by district payroll.
