Board hears high failure counts; district links most to attendance and expands credit recovery plans

Dr. Segura said seniors at risk have been the focus and that letters and conferences are underway; board members urged more robust attendance strategies and earlier interventions for grades 7–11 to reduce the number of students entering high school behind on credits.
