The Darrington Town Council took a sequence of formal actions on Sept. 10, 2025. Motions recorded as passed by those present include approval of the meeting agenda and Aug. 13 minutes; Reece Construction change order #2 (extend contract to Feb. 15, 2026); OAC change order #5 (add $15,606.65 for special inspection fees); appointment of Gretchen Smith to the Planning Commission; approval of Amendment A to deobligate $74,738.41 from a Washington State Department of Commerce decarbonization grant; approval of accounts payable; and formal adjournment at 8:24 p.m.
All recorded motions were approved "all in favor" by council members present. The minutes show Billie Burtenshaw absent; no roll-call breakdown of individual 'yes' votes is included in the text beyond the collective "all in favor."
