Meggie Troili told the council that Midvale City was awarded $100,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the Redevelopment Agency’s Home Repair Loan Program (HRLP) for fiscal year 2025 and that $96,876 in prior‑year CDBG remained unspent due to contract delays. "This remaining funding will be rolled over into 2025 fiscal year funding for a total of $196,876," Troili said.
Staff recommended suspending the rules and approving Resolution No. 2024‑R‑46 authorizing an agreement with Salt Lake County for the funds. Council Member Heidi Robinson moved to suspend the rules and approve the resolution; Council Member Dustin Gettel seconded, and the motion passed unanimously (one excused). The action will provide additional grant funding to support the HRLP in the 2025 fiscal year.
