Council approves consent agenda budget amendments; defers Arts Commission appointment to April 9

The council adopted the consent agenda, which amended the FY2025 council-approved budget to appropriate $142,000 from the computer-replacement committed fund balance to the information-technology general fund for the cybersecurity program and approximately $90,000 from the hazmat-restricted fund to the fire-and-rescue general-fund operating budget. Minutes from two February work sessions and a legislative session were also approved.
The council also considered one appointment to the Hampton Commission on the Arts and voted to defer that appointment until April 9. The motion to defer carried on a unanimous voice/roll-call vote.
