City seeks public input on 2025–2029 consolidated plan and fair-housing assessment

Jonathan McBride, manager of the Housing and Neighborhood Services Division, briefed the council and public on the status of the 2025–2029 consolidated plan and the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing. McBride said the city is gathering input through a survey (linked at Hampton.gov/hudplans), has a QR code on the presentation and expects to present a draft in May with a target of June adoption.
McBride noted there was no requirement for council action that night and encouraged residents who have not yet participated to use the online survey before the closing date. He said staff will bring a draft plan to council in May and expects the council to consider adoption in June.
