Jackson County supervisors approved a set of administrative actions at the June 9 meeting, including Resolution #1188-06-09-2026 authorizing an operating transfer of $8,551.00 from the Secondary Road 308th Street Assessment Fund #20001 to the Secondary Road Fund #20000, effective June 9, 2026. The action was recorded in Resolution Book 5, page 378.
The board also authorized signatures on the official State of Iowa Abstract of Votes and the official Canvass of Election and approved the June 2, 2026 meeting minutes for publication. After completing business, the board adjourned at 10:00 a.m. and scheduled the next meeting for June 16, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the Maquoketa courthouse boardroom.
Why it matters: The transfer moves funds between county secondary road accounts for project or assessment purposes; the canvass approval completes statutory election reporting duties.
