Board closes public hearing, approves FY2026 budget amendment
Summary

The Jackson County Board of Supervisors closed the public hearing on the FY2026 budget amendment and approved Resolution #1187-06-09-2026 at its June 9, 2026 meeting. Deputy Auditor Shelley Hoye presented the amendment and said no written comments for or against had been received prior to the hearing.
Supervisor Mike Steines moved to close the hearing; Supervisor Nin Flagel seconded and the motion passed with all supervisors voting Aye (Schwenker, Steines, Flagel). The board authorized the Chair and Auditor to sign the Record of Hearing and to certify the amendment to the State of Iowa, as recorded in Resolution Book 5, page 377.
