During public comment, Ruthann Tobiason of 326 Juniper N told the council she was glad Wayfinding Sign funding was on the agenda and said that Bill Sangster would be interested in participating if a Tourism Committee is formed.
Council subsequently approved a $7,875.82 Tourism Fund payment for the Creative District's Wayfinding Sign Project and asked the City Attorney to draft an ordinance to create a Tourism Fund Committee for future guidance on such expenditures.
No appointments to the prospective committee were made at this meeting.
