At the June 9 meeting the board approved several administrative items by motion. The board approved an operating transfer (resolution 1188‑06‑09‑2026) moving $8,551 from the Secondary Roads 308th Street assessment fund to the secondary road fund to reflect installment payments received.
Auditor Lisa Smith asked the supervisors to retroactively approve and sign the FY25 RCTP agreement with the City of Bellevue for $23,321 because a signed copy could not be located in county files; the board approved the retroactive authorization so payment can proceed. The auditor also presented two fireworks permits: Matthew Franzen at 36540 Highway 64 in Preston for July 3, 2026 (rain date July 5) and Matt Anderson at 7501 214th Avenue in Maquoketa for July 4, 2026 at 9 p.m. (rain date July 5 at 9 p.m.). Motions to approve those permits carried.
The board also approved routine items such as meeting minutes and recorder's reports during the session.
