The Jackson County Board of Supervisors approved three separate resolutions on June 23 to abate taxes and assessments for mobile homes that county records show had been removed or destroyed.
The board approved Resolution #1191 to abate $2,546.00 for a mobile home owned by Robert Lee Streets at Prairie Creek Mobile Home Park; Resolution #1192 to abate $1,276.00 for a mobile home owned by Kyle Lee Morris at Prairie Creek Mobile Home Park; and Resolution #1193 to abate $6,388.15 for a mobile home owned by Micheala Lauer at Leisure Lake. Each motion passed with unanimous votes recorded as Schwenker, Steines, Flagel — aye.
Treasurer Beth Gerlach requested the abatements on the basis that the mobile homes had been removed or destroyed; the minutes do not supply prior owner contact attempts or supporting documentation in the public record for June 23. The abatements were recorded in Resolution Book 5, pages 381–383.
