On water access, Jones and other staff described boat‑ramp damage (rock placed at the ramp end washed away), potential signage to discourage boat trailers at certain ramps, and ongoing engineering grants to fund water‑trail access improvements and docking options. He said the county is pursuing an appraisal on a shop property and working with the county attorney on a possible offer.
