Supervisor Hock updates council on Chain Park completion, pickleball courts and 1st Street repairs

Supervisor Hock gave the council a multi-part project update, beginning with Chain Park. He said the project is near completion but still has physical-completion items to finish — specifically corner collars for posts and fence-height adjustments — and that he inspected the site recently. "We added some pickleball nets down there inside of a a steel locker," Hock said, noting community interest in the courts.
On the 1st Street reconstruction project, Hock said he walked the site with contractors and engineers and identified a few minor issues — small cracks in gutters and some surface waviness in the asphalt — and that the team will do another walkthrough to determine corrective measures. He also said striping for the project is scheduled "on the 22nd."
