The towns current contract counsel provided historical hourly and monthly averages for services rendered; the firm reported roughly 60-65 hours per month through 2024 and said 2025 usage will likely be higher. The council asked staff to return with a draft RFP that clarifies scope and options so the council can decide whether to pursue contract counsel, an in-house attorney, or a hybrid model.
