Councilor Corcoran asked for volunteer drivers for the Labor Day parade after Don was confirmed unable to drive the historic fire truck this year. "Don will not be able to, drive the fire truck in the parade this year," Corcoran said, asking for volunteers and noting the importance of having the 101-year-old truck in the parade for Don personally.
Councilors praised public works for ongoing resurfacing and thanked departments for work on Labor Day preparations. The Chair confirmed that fireworks will be part of the event this year. The meeting adjourned after brief remarks and thanks to a remote attendee (Trisha).
