The Soap Lake City Council voted to accept the Daisy Street (SR 17) Sidewalk Improvements Phase II project during its April 1 meeting.
Councilmember Gorman moved and Councilmember Arnold seconded the motion to accept the project; the council recorded that the project is 100% funded by grant monies. Project representative Mr. Woodkey told the council they are "looking to be able to put out for bid by the end of the year for completion in 2027." The council carried the motion unanimously.
No contract award or bid schedule was finalized at the meeting; staff indicated timing is contingent on design and procurement steps ahead of bidding.
