South Ogden honors two police promotions

Mayor Russell L. Porter and Police Chief Park recognized two personnel promotions within the police department. Chief Park described Randy Thomason's 23 years of service and Robert Guillen's 18 years and said Thomason will move into administration while Guillen will serve as a new sergeant.
"He's got 23 years of experience...so he's now part of administration," Chief Park said of Randy Thomason, and he noted Robert Guillen's varied assignments including detectives, narcotics and school resource work.
The council congratulated the officers; staff will complete personnel paperwork and assignment changes.
