The South Salt Lake City Council on July 8 approved a resolution authorizing designated individuals to perform necessary functions on the City’s financial accounts, including the Utah Public Treasurers Investment Fund accounts. Finance Director Stewart Okobia presented the resolution, which had been reviewed at the prior Work Meeting.
Council Member Clarissa Williams moved to approve the resolution; Council Member Corey Thomas seconded. A roll-call vote recorded Joy Glad, Corey Thomas, Sharla Bynum, Irvin Jones, Clarissa Williams and Ray deWolfe as "Yes"; Nick Mitchell was absent. The resolution was adopted.
No substantive questions or objections were recorded during the Council’s action on the resolution. The Council had reviewed the item at an earlier Work Meeting, and the materials were incorporated by reference into the record.
