Board approves revised job descriptions for executive assistant, ELL tutor, school-climate roles

The Windsor Locks Board of Education approved multiple revised job descriptions at its Sept. 26 meeting, moving several role definitions to final approval and placing two others on first-read review.
Mr. Robert Stacy, Director of Human Resources, presented five job descriptions for second read and approval — Executive Assistant to the Superintendent; Tutor - ELL; School Climate Coordinator; School Climate Specialist; and High School Director of Guidance (stipend position). Two additional positions — Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment PreK-12 and Administrative Assistant – Pupil Services — were presented for first-read review. The minutes record the approval as unanimous: "It was MOVED (Guyette) and SECONDED (Cutler) and PASSED (U) that the Board of Education approves the revised job description(s) ... as presented."
