Resident urges board to address athletic director pay and aging high-school track

He recalled prior discussions before Paul Harrington left town about renovating sports fields and urged Superintendent Shawn Parkhurst to meet with Board of Finance member Scott Storms to explore funding or a plan.
The board did not take formal action at the Sept. 12 meeting on either the compensation question or a track-replacement plan; Farr asked the superintendent to arrange a follow-up meeting to develop options and pursue potential state funding.
