Marshall County Engineering Signs Survey Agreement; Board Approves $421,468 in Road Equipment Purchases

Marshall County Engineer Paul C. Geilenfeldt told the Board May 20 that Snyder & Associates will provide acquisition plats and easement exhibits for the Binford/245th Street project; the Board approved the agreement form with Snyder & Associates.
The Board also approved two equipment purchases from Ziegler CAT in Altoona using the Fiscal Year 2027 equipment budget: a Caterpillar M320 wheeled excavator for $346,336.29 and an FAE BL4/EX/SONIC-125 forestry mulcher for $75,132.00, with the mulcher to serve as an attachment for the new and existing excavators. Geilenfeldt said delivery of the excavator is expected within the current calendar year.
